Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Bank Statement to Excel, Wyoming, United States ("we", "us"), which runs at bankstatementtoexcelonline.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.
1. What the Service does
The Service converts PDF bank statements and similar documents you upload into spreadsheets and reports, and offers optional tools such as categorisation, summaries, review reports and authenticity checks.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate details.
- Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity in your account.
- One person per account. Accounts created to get around free limits may be closed.
3. Your documents
- Only upload documents you have the right to process (your own, or with your client's permission).
- You keep all rights to your documents and results. You let us process them only to provide the Service.
- We keep files for the period shown in your account and then delete them (see the Privacy Policy).
4. Check the results
Conversions are automated and can contain mistakes, especially with unusual layouts. Always check important figures against the original statement. Categories, tax summaries, Schedule C lines, loan and legal reviews and authenticity signals are aids to organise information. They are not tax, accounting, legal, lending or financial advice, and authenticity signals are not proof that a document was or wasn't altered.
5. Plans and payments
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- You can cancel any time in Account → Manage billing; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Unused pages don't roll over. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
- Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to break security, overload it, scrape it, resell it without permission, upload malware, or use it for fraud or anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may add, change or remove features.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
9. Ending
You can delete your account any time in Account settings. We may close accounts that break these terms.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Questions: use our contact page.
